  : The location was great, right in the heart of the tourist part of the city, easy access to all the monuments, etc. and to the tram. Also, the manager at the time was very helpful even though he didnt give us the right room the first night we had asked for two twin beds, but he changed the room the next day. Its a very small hotel.
  : Theres a restaurant on the corner that plays music a little bit too late at night like about 1am-I told the reception, so Im sure they let the restaurant know. Unfortunately the area outside the hotel and all the other hotels is not kept very clean, but it doesnt affect the property itself. They ran out of water in the downstairs water bottle by the second day. Everything else is OK the air conditioner work fine in the water in the shower. Everything else was working, just as they had published.

  : It's a small hotel very hear biggest attractions in Istanbul, in a small little street - hence, even though the tourist areas are crazy busy, it's still quiet at the hotel. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. We were able to check in at 2am, (our flight was delayed).
  : My overall experience with the hotel was really damaged by the way they handled a particular situation. I forgot something at the hotel (left a small bag in the bathroom) and even though after checking out we were again at the hotel (to pick up our bags and wait for the taxi), the receptionist did not inform us of the items left (busy playing computer games) - even though I guess by 6pm our room had been emptied and cleaned up? It took me a lot of effort to solve the issue (as the items could not be replaced), with minimum to zero help from the hotel. I understand they are not responsible for me leaving stuff behind - this was my own fault. But given we were sitting there another 2 hours before leaving Istanbul, I would have welcomed information of the items left and more active approach to help get my issue solved. Our stay was good, but this situation left a bad taste and we won't be coming back.

  : The location is perfect. Both the Basilica cisterns and Hagia Sofia right nextdoor. At the same time, the hotel is in reasonably quiet area and thanks to double glazing only a little noise from the outside gets in.
  : The matrace was way too soft and pillow way too stuffed. Every morning I woked up beaten. Bed is 160cm wide. There was a large patch of black mould on the ceiling in the shower. No spare room to move us to. It was dealt with the next day, but still it makes one's imagination running. When was the AC cleaned last time? What are we breathing? What grows elsewhere? How long has the room been unoccupied? How come the maid doesn't notice?The doors doesn't provide any noise insulation, so you can hear easily everyone on the stairs. Given the handles are quite tricky and lots of people rather slam the door closed, this gives quite a lot disturbance.The fan is half fallen.All in all the impression is that someone has a hotel, but doesn't give a damn about maintenance and appearance. Why there's vacuum cleaner in the corridor? Why the letters and numbers that fell off the wall are not glued back in? Lots and lots of little things add up.I do not understand, how this hotel can have such a good rating.

  : It's a very bad experience herewe have tworeservation for this hostel, one for two nights andone for one night. We made a full payment beforeour departure. Because of our flight delay, we cannot check in the first night on time and no one ofthis hostel contacted us for the check in stuff. Andthat's fine... the thing is when we arrived the hostelon the second day, the receptionist told us with a very indifferent attitude that our room wascancelled and has sold to a new guest! No room isavailable for us even we have made the full payment.And the receptionist thought that it's all our faultnot to tell them to reserve the room. Oh excuseme? It this is the case, what is the meaning to givea full payment to you. And isn't it your responsibility to ask your guests why they didn't come on time? And you guys can just cancel your guest's room so randomly and sell it to another guest to earn an extra revenue with a same room?That's ridiculous and annoyingespecially whenmy 60 year-old mum and I have taken a nearly 48hours flight, all we want is just a room to take a rest however what we were faced with is the receptionist indifferent face and we had to book another hostel in a hurry and with a super high room rate
